Web Developer

Johnson Group, a full-service marketing and advertising agency based in Saint Cloud, Minn., has an immediate opening for a web developer. The web developer will determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, convert design layouts into CSS/XHTML, participate in all phases of the development process and oversee live deployment. Preferred candidates will have solid technical skills, a good eye for detail and design and the ability to work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development Team to ensure timely completion of deliverables. The ideal candidate will have:

• - a BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
• - Proficiency with HTML/XHTML, XML and CSS (HTML5 experience is a plus)
• - Experience with PHP, ASP or JSP and relational database systems such as MySQL
• - Ability to develop and implement content management systems
• - Capacity to address HTML and scripting compatibility issues between browsers
• - Good communication skills and ability to work closely with Art Directors/Designers?
• - Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/deadlines in a fast-paced environment without losing while maintaining attention to detail?
• - Proven ability to participate in multiple, concurrent projects
• - Willingness to alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities
• - Background in email marketing, search engine optimization, mobile websites/applications, or shopping carts is a plus
