“Vita Bella! ”
The American Cancer Society had rough plans to create an event that would bring together business professionals and community members in support of cancer research and awareness to raise capital for their continual fight against the disease. The canvas to work with came to Johnson Group completely clean, and the design work and coordination was to be done by the agency.
The first step was to decide on the theme for the event. The theme was chosen and titled “Vita Bella,” meaning “Beautiful Life” in Italian. The event spotlighted the wonders of this beautiful life through the rustic and romantic Italian countryside theme. The theme carried through the entire event campaign featuring invitations, ads, posters, and a hangtag that was placed on daffodils sold by the American Cancer Society. This cohesive transition through all these forms of ads and collateral materials helped to make the event a beautiful success. .
