Johnson Group Takes Two Silver Addy Awards in the 8th district regional awards
Johnson
Group Advertising
and Design,
was recognized
on March
9, 2007 with
two "Silver
Addy" awards
heralding excellence
in creativity,
design and
marketing from
the American
Advertising
Federation
(AAF). The event
held in Sioux
Falls, SD was
the regional
awards for
the 8th district
of the AAF,
which includes
Minnesota,
North Dakota,
South Dakota
and Wisconsin.
The
first Silver
Addy Award
was for collateral
material/stationery
package for
Uptown Eye
Care located
in Monticello
Minnesota. "Johnson
Group
did a great
job in understanding
our business
and designed
materials
that really
stand out
in our marketplace," said
Dr. Elaine
Happ Owner/Optometrist
of Uptown
Eye
Care.
The
second Silver
Addy Award
was for the
category Elements
of Advertising
- Logo. Johnson
Group won the
award for the
Wasatch
Water Club
Logo for the
IMAR Group.
The
Addy Awards
are the nations
largest advertising
competition.
Each year the
competition
begins at the
local level
with the 210
AAF member clubs
around the county.
The local winners
proceed to 14
regional competitions,
and those winners
proceed to the
national finals,
which are held
in conjunction
with the AAF
National Conference
in June 2007. |
